The Center for Anxiety [www.centerforanxiety.org - 116 West 23rd Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10011] invites applications for part time (16-20 hours/week) postdoctoral fellowship beginning in January/February, 2012. The postdoctoral fellow will assume clinical, research and administrative responsibilities including conducting clinical intakes, providing individual and group cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety symptoms across diagnostic conditions, facilitation of data analyses for clinical outcome studies, preparation of treatment manuals, and supervision of junior trainees. Opportunities exist for independent and collaborative basic and applied research including manuscript preparation and grant writing under mentorship. Qualifications of applicants must include a doctoral degree, internship in clinical psychology, experience with assessment of Axis I disorders using structured diagnostic interviews, experience with cognitive-behavioral interventions for anxiety disorders with adults, and a record of academic achievement including peer-reviewed publications and/or academic conference presentations.
