Premier Psychology Services (PPS), LLP, invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship position beginning September of 2012. Successful candidates will have their doctoral degree and completed an APA approved internship by the start date, and have prior experience using CBT and other evidence-based therapies with children, adolescents, and adults. Applicants who have obtained training in CBT, ACT, DBT, PCIT and other evidence-based therapies through ABCT and other formal organizations are highly encouraged to apply. In addition, experience with psychoeducational and child neuropsychological assessment is highly desired. Career goals of fellow will be strongly considered and cases will be assigned accordingly.
Premier Psychology Services is a busy and dynamic private practice in Mount Kisco, NY, dedicated to providing the highest quality of evidence-based care to local families. PPS strives to bridge the gap between child mental health and school-related struggles through tailored assessments, and in doing so, designs specific and effective intervention plans that involve collaboration between parents, teachers, and cognitive-behavioral clinician. Current research efforts of the practice are aimed at evaluating effective child therapy interventions, particularly in the areas of attention and executive functioning.
